Register For CYIA
Please read before proceeding to the application:
- CYIA training costs $425, of which $25 is an application fee and is required for all students who apply for CYIA. This is a CEF state fee and is nonrefundable.
- You may pay for your entire CYIA training fee and optional CYIA hoodie at the time of your application. You will also have the option to pay later and send in a check to the state office to cover your entire CYIA training fee and optional CYIA hoodie. In the central chapter, we send in one check after our fundraising efforts; this is a chapter pay. Check with your local Director if you have questions.
- There are two applications: 1) New Student and 2) Returning Student. Please complete the one that applies to you.
- There is one additional step after the application has been submitted. If you are over the age of 13 and have not completed a background check authorization before, you will need to complete that step in the white section below.
All applications received after MAY 1st. 2025 will be charged a late fee of $30.
Special note: Application deadline for CYIA in Central Wyoming is April 15th.
Central students that apply after April 15th will need to contact the Director for approval.
Due to fundraising efforts, any central student that apply for CYIA after May 1st will not be accepted on the central CYIA team. (Unless special Director approval)
Background Checks
CEF maintains high standards concerning the protection of children at our clubs. Every student must read, understand, and sign the child protection policy document and complete the mandatory Background Check Authorization if they are over the age of 13 years old. If you have completed a background check with CEF Wyoming in the last 5 years, you do not need to complete another.
